St. Pat's Intermediate Feb. 26 to March 2

Parent-Teacher Interviews
We had another successful evening of parent-teacher interviews on Thursday. Our School Council chairperson, Stephanie Anderton, was present, answering questions and providing free Tim Hortons' coffee. As well, St. Pat's High School principal Carrie Bowie and vice-principal Ryan Larose attended in order to address any concerns parents/guardians may have about our move in the fall. Finally, a presentation took place in the Learning Commons outlining the benefits of Google Read and Write technology (pictured below). All-in-all it was a great time to be at St. Pat's Intermediate and I'd like to thank everyone who attended or who helped in the logistics.

Some Staffing Changes
Our head caretaker, Justin Joanisse, is being moved to a larger school (Lester B. Pearson) right after the March Break.  He will be replaced by Jorge Martell.  Also, one of our office administrators, Amanda Hayes, will be taking on a more permanent position at Holy Trinity High School on March 1.  We will soon be welcoming Josie Fitzgerald into Amanda's position.

Justin and Amanda are both excellent contributors and members of our community.  We wish them nothing but the best in their new positions.
